🍺 Texas Steinholding Qualifier at Old Gregg
Saturday, September 12
Competition Starts: 6:00 PM
Old Gregg is an official qualifying venue for the 2026 Texas Steinholding State Championship!
Put your steinholding skills to the test and see how long you can hold on. The winners of our men’s and women’s competitions will earn the opportunity to represent Old Gregg at the Texas Steinholding State Championship at Wurstfest in New Braunfels on November 15.
Texas State Champions will then be invited to compete at the U.S. Steinholding Association National Championship.

INTERSTELLAR BBQ POP-UP
🔥 InterStellar BBQ Pop-Up at Old Gregg | Saturday, September 12
InterStellar BBQ is coming to Old Gregg’s place!
Join us on Saturday, September 12 for a special BBQ pop-up at the brewery. Grab a plate, pair it with an Old Gregg beer, and hang out with us for the day.
Time: 4PM UNTIL SOLD OUT
Menu: 2 meat plate with potato salad, pickles, onions, BBQ sauce. Meats are smoked brisket and beer brined turkey.
Stick around because the day doesn’t stop there. At 6PM, Old Gregg will also host an official qualifying competition for the Texas Steinholding State Championship.
Good BBQ, cold beer, and a little friendly competition. We’ll see y’all September 12.
FIESTA OKTOBERFEST

We’re bringing a little Oktoberfest fun to Old Gregg’s place with a full day of beer, food, local shopping, and festivities.
Shop a lineup of local vendors, grab something cold from the bar, and spend the day hanging out with us in Pflugerville.

We’re bringing Oktoberfest back to Old Gregg’s with cold beer, a new beer release, food features, stein holding, live polka music, and plenty of reasons to break out the lederhosen.
UT vs. OU will be on in the afternoon, with Oktoberfest festivities kicking off after the game! Come watch Texas, then stick around and make a day of it.
